Kumiko's Snack Recipe
Yield: one Oven Toaster' s baking sheet
- 2 cups Milet Puffs
- 0.5 - 1 cup Almonds ( cut in half )
- 2 tablespoons Brown Rice Syrup
- pinch salt
In a large bowl, mix Puffs and Nuts.
Heat BRSyrup with pinch salt in a sauce pan until it begins to foam (Watch! in a second, not to burn).
Remove syrup from the heat and pour over the puff - nuts mix, and quickly mix well with large spoon or spatula.
Spread the mixture on a baking sheet. Very sticky, moisten your fingers so you can easy to handle the mixture. Press the mixture evenly down to the sheet, or use an ice cream scoop to make the ball shape.
Bake 300 F for 10 ~ minutes, or until no longer sticky to the touch.
There are kamut, brown rice puffs, or popcorn. Any nuts and seeds to mix with, and amount of BRSyrup is up to your preference.
