1 1/2 cup lentils (bean to water ratio is approx. 1: 2; water can be drained or added easily)
Cook green lentils and wild rice in separate pots. Sauté garlic and onions with olive oil in a frying pan or wok. Add cooked lentils and wild rice. Grate carrot and stir into mixture until heated through. Add spices as desired.
