Established main objectives of group at this time:

1. Consider the direction co-op should move into terms of developing

• Confirm the relevancy of current mission statement

• Collect ideas from members about co-op’s vision and possible expansion of services

• Research financial structure, filing status and general organization structures of other co-ops (what services do they offer to the community?)

  2. Apply for 501(c)(3) status

• Research process, decide if it is possible

• Create a proposal for the co-op to

• Collect documents and data necessary for application process (assuming it is possible and proposal passes)

  Judith: organize benefit, email co-op’s mission statement

  Michelle: research greenstar co-op in Ithaca, is open to helping out with parts of different projects

  Giulia – post meeting notes on Wiki, holding down membership and hanging out with fundraising (focus on collecting dues and getting membership cards)

  Talia – resident expert on all things musical and grant-related, can help with application process (non-profit status)
