"Local Tofu" - have Fresh Tofu, locally grown, instead none supplier experiencing production problems, no expected return date.
raw/light/clear agave none switching to a source that only offers bulk. Will have raw dark, when our existing supply of bulk dark runs out, but it's undetermined whether there's a demand for light or clear raw, in bulk.
frozen items none freezer needs repair

Discontinued Items

Sometimes we stop carrying an item altogether. Here's why.

sticky/sweet/mochi rice   Didn't sell well. Existing source, Lundberg, is more expensive.    
Bragg's Liquid Aminos   not organic, while we have locally made organic soy sauce that is made from locally grown soybeans when available that we sell in bulk, as well as packaged    
GTS kombucha BAO kombucha: made in NYC from locally grown produce and packaged in bottles that are made in NJ, rather than the cheaper ones from China Some flavors didn't sell fast enough during the slow season, new short expiration date, distributor only guarantees those won't expire within 14 days.

Curry Leaf Red Clover Blossoms Not popular. Never sold, replaced with more popular item Red Clover Blossoms

Mace Powder Pumpkin Pie Spice Not popular, sold poorly, replaced with similar seasonal item    
Mustard Seed Powder, Yellow Chipotle Powder Not popular, sold poorly, will be replaced.    
Garlic Powder Garlic Granules Replaced with an easier to dispense and more popular version.    
Whole Red Chili African Bird Pepper Chili Powder Not popular, sells poorly. Will be discontinued once out of stock.    
White Pepper (ground) Burdock Root Not popular, sells poorly. Will be discontinued once out of stock.    
Onion Powder Onion Granules Easier to stock, sells faster    
dried blueberries   became very expensive, suspected theft item    
dumplings   substantially not organic    
Tofurkey sausages   Tentatively discontinued because not organic.    
Tofurkey slices   Tentatively discontinued because not organic and not selling well - expiring.    
red quinoa   too expensive - crop failure    
Smoothies from Maple Hill   Discontinued by manufacturer    
Ariston olive oil   Concerns over organic status    
Ariston balsamic vinegar   Ships w/Ariston oil, not being ordered separately, concerns over organic status too?    
Kettle Chips   Membership concerns about company being publicly traded
