Credit/Debit:

We take Visa, Mastercard, Diners Club and Discover.

We do not take American Express.

Suggested minimum for credit/debit purchases is $10. Don’t turn anyone away, but request that they get close.

Ring items subtotal DISCOUNT (if any) & subtotal

Swipe card & select "credit" or "debit"

Enter sale total on terminal green key

If DEBIT, shopper enters PIN on customer keypad

Screen should say “dialing..receiving” etc.

When transaction completes, the store copy of the receipt will print and terminal will beep,

the screen will read “Print Customer Copy?” choose Y or N

If CREDIT , make sure the shopper signs the merchant receipt.

Back at the register, enter the amount paid credit/debit

Make sure receipt says “approved” & file store copy.

EBT CARDS

There is no minimum for EBT sales.

EBT cards cannot be used to pay for non-food items, like canteens or soap.

When EBT Cards are used for water or taxable food, we must waive the tax:

Ring items

subtotal Ring discount * FS subtotal (note: this is different than regular subtotal key)

* Process Card at terminal (swipe > EBT> Food > enter amt > green key > cust. enters PIN )

Make sure receipt says “approved”

* print customer copy & file store copy.

Back at register, enter the amount to be paid w/ card EBT
