Creating pages

Pages can be created in 2 ways:

  1. Use the "Create New Topic" button:
Click the "newtopic Create New Topic" link in the sidebar.
When creating a topic by using the "Create New Topic" link, you'll have the option to set the page name, the parent, and start from a template page.
    • Topic name: The title of the page. The title of this topic is HowToWikiCreating.
    • Topic parent: Every topic has a "parent". Parent topics are displayed at the top of each page. This page is under HowToWiki, which in turn is under HowTo, which is under the Store Web.
    • Templates: There area few template pages available. If you're creating a Minutes page for a general meeting, you could select "Create New Topic", and select MinutesGeneralMeetingTemplate, which will give you a page that already includes sections for date & location, attendees, a list of the Working Groups, and a section for proposals.
      .
  2. Create a new empty page link, and then fill it in:
While editing a page, create a link to a page that doesn't exist:
    [[PageThatDoesNotExist]].
After you click save, a question mark will appear next to the link you just made:
    PageThatDoesNotExist?
Click the question mark to start editing the new page.
